Mission Statement
The Library is an integral part of Monmouth University’s academic life. The Library builds, maintains, and makes available extensive, carefully-selected and well-organized collections that support the teaching and scholarship mission. The Library provides access to scholarly resources through traditional and technological means in consultation with faculty and staff to develop student competencies. The Library makes its resources and special collections available to the wider community including scholars and other users. The highly qualified staff of the Library is responsive to individual needs and is exceptionally dedicated to teaching and scholarship. All of these endeavors are centered in a physical facility conducive to the pursuit of knowledge and the use and preservation of materials.
