Report of World's Women 2005 - This UN web site is useful for statistical analyses of the health, educational, and political status of women around the world. This site collates much of the overwhelming amounts of  information that researchers require about developing countries.

InfoNation - Use this UN-maintained web site to compare information profiles of separate countries and create customized tables. For example, you can compare water resources in Pakistan and Iraq, or Internet users in China and the United States. InfoNation draws on the UN databases used to compile the Statistical Yearbook and World Statistics Pocketbook, and contains geographic, economic, demographic, and social indicators for U.N. member countries.

UNESCO Statistics - The United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) founded this statistical branch in 1999 to serve researchers. Users may access education data spanning 1970-1997 by subject, region, country, and year. The site also contains statistical tables from the UNESCO Statistical Yearbook 1999 in the fields of education, science, and communication.
