Monmouth Memories Oral History Program

The Monmouth Memories Oral History Program is a long-term, open-ended effort to capture and preserve the organizational heritage of Monmouth University. The Program is a product of the Department of History and Anthropology, in collaboration with the Monmouth University Library. There is no dedicated staff or funding stream. Interviews are often conducted by our oral history students, who use their classroom training to document our shared history. Please contact Program coordinator Specialist Professor of Public History Melissa Ziobro with any questions about the interviews: mziobro@monmouth.edu.

Interview transcripts or summaries are available below. Affiliation refers to the narrator’s status at the time of the interview. You can select a narrator’s name to read their story, or search across all of the interviews for key terms. Interviews are added regularly. Recordings are available upon request to Professor Ziobro.
